Dr Chetty is a Fellow of the The Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine and the practice principal with over 30 years experience in the medical field. Having worked as an Intensive Care Paramedic in South Africa, New Zealand, Victoria and Queensland before graduating with an MBBS, Dr Chetty is skilled in emergency medicine.
He has worked in various hospitals in QLD, NSW, VIC and South Africa.
Dr Chetty is known for his compassion, his great bed-side manner, ability to effectively diagnose patients and to provide the requisite treatment plans, with an holistic approach to medicine.

Dr Guindy has been fully committed to ethical and patient-centred care since he obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2003 in Egypt.

Dr Shireen Abbas

Dr Shireen is our female doctor here at Ballina Fair. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in India in 1998.
​
She then moved to Australia and worked at the Gold Coast University Hospital as a registrar practising in Medicine and Geriatrics from 2007 - 2014.
​
Dr Shireen has experience and special interests in Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Chronic Pain Management, Women's Health and Aged Care.
